Hibernian FC supporters can now see how Pat Stanton found out the Club was honouring his iconic career.

As an ambassador of the Football Club, Pat regularly sat down with Hibs TV for interviews, and he thought it was something similar last week (Thursday 26 June, 2025).

Ready to discuss his history for the Club and special European moments, the Hibs Hall of Famer was instead handed a special envelope revealing the East Stand will be renamed the Pat Stanton Stand.

The Hibs TV cameras captured his immediate, raw reaction to the news, in what is a real tear-jerking five minutes.
