I have been in discussion with a vile fan, regarding Birmingham's oldest football club. He states that the answer is vile.

However Aston was not a part of Birmingham until 1911, which means that Blues were the first football club founded in the city of Birmingham, making them the oldest football club in the city, and vile are just an adopted club.

Am i correct ?
