Carsley would be the best fit, both financially and because he's worked successfully with a lot of these players before. If you don't think his track record is good enough, have a look at the track records of the Spain manager who's just won the Euros or Lionel Scaloni managing Argentina.

I don't want us to blow millions on a manager, it isn't necessary. What is necessary is that they are an Englishman - that is the biggest red line of the lot for me.
