implied terms of contract - legal beagles (4 replies)

If an employee has (from day one of employment) been given a set amount of 'free days' over xmas which is NOT subject to deduction from annual leave for over a decade - would this be considered implied terms of contract as it is not expressly stated?

Can the employer change the plan and decide all of a sudden these days need to be booked from annual leave?
