Nikola Zigic- FEADid wonder if that was the case, I don't remember them making a fuss of any elite athletes at the start of the Birmingham one.
Why don't we get the entrants? Is it because the route is so hilly?
I don’t know to be honest. Probably not the course. The main thing would be prize money plus this year Birmingham was 2-3 weeks after London and Boston marathons so most of the main guys would probably still be in a rest period after those races.
