I also think that the outrage is just born out of an incomplete and naive view of how tickets are sold.
We get a 2k allocation, that's not 2000 tickets for platinum + gold members to buy. Outside of the normal routes there are already tickets going to boxes, players, sponsors, etc. I don't know how it all works either, but I know that some people who aren't even ST holders manage to make their way to certain games no matter what. Then there's the whole reselling business.
