[Women's Soccer] Cocon Named UAV Women's Soccer Head Coach

Antelope Valley is pleased to announce the hiring of Diego Cocon to the position of women's soccer Head Coach.  Prior to arriving at UAV, Cocon served as head coach for the men's soccer program at Kansas Wesleyan, his alma mater, during the last two seasons.  KWU went 10-10 overall in his first season, and were 7-4 in the KCAC, earning the fourth seed in the KCAC Tournament and reaching the conference semifinals, where it lost 1-0 to No. 2 Oklahoma Wesleyan.  KWU had six All-KCAC honorees, three Academic All-KCAC honorees and one Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
