The 2025 Academy Awards are in the books, but it's never too early to start thinking about the next year's Oscar contenders! Okay, it is early ... way, way too early.Our attempt to nail down Best Picture contenders after last year's Oscars helped us identify a whopping two future nominees, and they were the most obvious ones: Dune: Part Two and Wicked.However, we're going to try our best to do better this year with our predictions, even if a lot of these will age poorly as the year goes on and we get a better look at the Oscar landscape.For now, let's just have some fun and identify 26 films we're keeping our eye on as possible Best Picture players down the road.
