Transfer Credit Policies

Southern Connecticut State University accepts transfer credit earned from courses taken at regionally accredited institutions and recognizes learning experiences outside the traditional college classroom may be equivalent to those that occur in the classroom in terms of meeting the objectives of established courses and programs. Acceptance of transfer and alternative credit varies depending upon specific degree requirements and relevant departmental, School or College, and/or external accrediting agency standards. ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) TheAdvanced Placement (AP) Program offers college-level courses and exams that students can take in high school.
