He came to Davenport in 1926. He married Lillian Eisenberg Sept.15, 1935, in Chicago. He had been in the automobile business for over years. In earlier years, he had owned the Davenport Used Car Exchange, and in later years, he owned and operated Morry's Car City, Rock Island. He was a member of the Tri-City Jewish Center; B'nai Brith, and the Men's Club of the center. He was a member of the Zionist Organization; and the religious committee of the center.He was a one of the founding members of the center. He was on the board of directors of the Hebrew Cemetery Association; a member of the Scott County and Rock Island County Automobile Dealers' Associations; and was treasurer of the former 9th Street Synagogue.
