Our Future Recreation Complex!

South Suburban is planning a new regional recreation complex which will include a fieldhouse with two synthetic turf fields and two gymnasiums with Pickleball courts, three sheets of ice and District administration offices. The project will replace the 50-year old  South Suburban Ice Arena and the South Suburban Administration Office.

The new facility will be 206,000 square-feet. It will be built just southwest of East County Line Road, and South Holly Street. The complex is expected to open in December 2020. The estimated project cost is nearly $61 million.
