Armenian figure skaters train for Milan 2018
Armenia is this year sending a team of figure skaters to Milan, Italy for participation in the ISO World Figure Skating Championship.
Two pairs (Slavik Hayrapetyan/Tina Karapet yan and Simon Pru/Senakal) and one solo ice dancer (Anastasia Galustyan) will represent the country in the sporting event set to run from 19 until 25 March.
“Slavik Hayrapetyan is now training in Adler [Russia] under the supervision of [coach] Alexander Urmanov. He will arrive in Milan with his father, Samvel Hayrapetyan, who is the Armenian national team’s coach. On March 16, Slavik is to join the international tournament Coupe de Printemps in Paris,” Melania Stepanyan, the Figure Skating Federation’s president, told the National Olympic Committee’s press service.
“Tina and Simon have not taken part in international tournaments after the European Championship. They are now training in Canada under their individual coaches’ supervision,” Stepanyan added.
