It was a tough weekend, but we had a learning and exciting experience at The Southern Regional USA Fencing event in Myrtle Beach, SC.  Isabella Lee, Olivia McKinney, and Coach Gerhard brough home some medals!  Here are the results:

CRASH COURSE FOR PARENTS COMPETING IN THE VETERANS TOURNAMENT

As I previously mentioned, we’d love to have some of our parents participate in our Veterans Touranment at the end of this month (October 25/26).  In preparation for the event, we are doing some crash course classes in the next 2 weeks to get ready for it.

First things first, the event at the end of October incukdes Vet Men’s and Women’s Foil and Epee events.  For fencing, the Veteran age group are fencers that are born 1986 or earlier.  We’re inviting parents that would like to try a local competition for veteran fencers only.  You can do both foil and epee.

Second thing, you need to make sure you are Access Members of USA Fencing.  Make sure you have an active Access Membership with USA Fencing by registering here:  https://www.usafencing.org/membership Remember, it only has the be an Access Membership ($34).
