Referee Clinic and The 82nd Shirt
REFEREE CLINIC
We have fencers that were interested in becoming a fencing referee and earning their referee rating. Here’s the general process:
- Attend a clinic (in person or online).
- Pass the written test for each weapon the referee would like to earn a rating in.
- Referee at a tournament where a referee observer can observe, provide feedback, and award a rating.

THE 82ND SHIRT!
On Thursdays, some of you may have seen Coach Gerhard’s 82nd Fencing Shirt. It was a design idea by one of our veteran fencers, Kevin DiCassio, so we made it into a reality! We’ll take orders until Friday, August 22, 2025, then we’ll send all the order request to the printers!
