Renew Your USA Fencing Membership! Also Upcoming Tournaments.

0 11

It is that time of year for EVERYONE to renew their USA Fencing Membership!

If you are a new member who joined USA Fencing between April 1 and June 30 of the current membership season, you are entitled to a USA Fencing Membership for the remaining months in the current season through the next membership season (2025-2026).

However, EVERYONE ELSE must renew their USA Fencing Membership.  As a USA Fencing Member Fencing Club, we are REQUIRED to have 100% of our students members of USA Fencing. It is also a requirement for our liability insurance. Please make sure you renew or start your USA Fencing Membership!

Which USA Fencing Membership should you get?:

  • ACCESS MEMBERSHIP
Good for classes and local competitions.
Most fencers will be getting this membership.
If you are registering for an event on https://www.askfred.net , you will only need an Access USA Fencing Membership.
  • COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP
Required if participating in National and Regional Competitions.
Only those few that participate in National and Regional events will need the Competitive Membership.
If you are registering for an event on https://member.usafencing.org/ , you MUST have a Competitive USA Fencing membership.

TOURNAMENTS
As always, you can view a list of tournaments that our fencers will most likely be attending at http://schedule.allamericanfencing.com

PRE-SEASON WARM UP AND FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT!
On August 30, 2025, we are planning on hosting several tournaments at our club.  This is good for new fencers that haven’t done a competition before and for those veteran fencers getting ready for the season.  But this one is slightly different!  This will be a FUNDRAISING EVENT!  Typical non-sanctioned event fee is $20 per event.  For this event, all referees and staff will be volunteers, and we are kindly asking fencers and families for donations to help purchase electric equipment the kids not only use during practice, but are free to borrow and use for all competitions.  Most clubs do not supply equipment or require rental fee.  Our club equipment is always free to use for competitions for all our fencers.

Registration:  https://askf.red/nu1nt
Here are the events:

9AM:  Y10 Mixed Foil (Boys and Girls, born 2015-2018)
9AM:  Y12 Mixed Foil (Boys and Girls, born 2011-2014)
