REMINDER! Thursday No Class, Rescheduled To Today…And HEAT!

There are no classes, lessons, or open fencing on Thursday, June 26, 2025.
All Thursday students (foil and epee), come to class today, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 7PM.
Open fencing this week will only be on Tuesday and Wednesday evening this week.
BEAT THE HEAT! REPLENISH YOUR ELECTROLYTES DURING OPEN FENCING!
It’s not going to be enough to just drink water during open fencing, especially those that fence several bouts. Try to drink water before coming to the fencing room. Take water breaks when you can, you don’t have to ask Coach to get a sip of water.
Also, we recommend bringing electrolytes in addition to water!
Commercial Electrolyte Drinks:
-Sports drinks (e.g., Gatorade, Powerade)
-Pedialyte
-Electrolyte water
Natural Sources:
-Coconut water
-Fruit juices (e.g., orange, apple, watermelon)
Get some stretching in before and after your open bouting as well.
