Private Lessons With David! And Tournaments!
PRIVATE LESSONS WITH DAVID!
Many have been taking advantage of private lessons with David Hadler! We want to remind you of that availability!
Group classes are great for learning and drilling fundamental fencing techniques, footwork, and strategy while getting practice sparring with other students at a similar skill level. It is similar to what you might face during actual bouts and tournaments, your opponents don’t give you the perfect cue and response to what you’re doing, classmates provide a variety of skills to contend with.
Private lessons provide tailored instruction to address specific weaknesses, improve advanced techniques, and work on personal fencing style based on your individual needs and goals. Private lessons can accelerate your learning curve by providing personalized feedback and focused practice. Students that have taken private lessons has seen improvement and higher placement in their tournaments.
David is available for private lessons on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings. Please reach out to David if you are interested in private lessons: 415-623-8334, davidj.hadler@gmail.com, or during club.
RETURN TO WILMINGTON! 3 SPACES LEFT!
I highly encourage this event for our beginner fencers! It’s a large tournament with a lot of unrated fencers. It’s a good tournament to get your feet wet in sanctioned tournaments. Unfortunately, if you haven’t registered before yesterday, we are now in late registrations (Entry fee is $10 additional). There is also a max of 28 fencers. The open foil has 3 spaces left. Currently, Isaac, Alexander, Lily, Isabelle, Mesha, and Braydon are attending from our club.

Coach Gerhard will be going to Charlotte, NC to support Isaac Canady in his event at 8AM on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Junior Olympics will actually be occurring from February 14-17, 2025.
A national fencing event means that several equipment suppliers will be on site. I plan on purchasing several things we need for club. But if you need to purchase beginner equipment, uniform pieces, start purchasing competitive equipment, or adding or replacing any equipment…actually having a need to purchase ANY fencing equipment, being at a national event is the best place to do so. You can try things on and or try different types of weapons, shoes, etc.
These are the equipment suppliers that will be on site:
