Annual Christmas Party Potluck!
Our fencers always look forward to this.  It’s a chance to meet the other team members from other classes, meet the other families, and lots of food!  The December calendar is pretty packed, so our Christmas Party is earlier this year, we hope everyone can make it!  It’s a potluck, so bring what you want!

Date: Friday, December 6, 2024
Time:  6PM
Location:  All-American Fencing Academy

Tournaments
We’ll see everyone this weekend for the first Pisacafe and Homeschool events of the season at the All-American Fencing Academy!  It should be a pretty packed tournament!

The next Pisacafe and homeschool event will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at the Greensboro Fencing Academy.   That’s the day after our Christmas party.  I’ll also print out homeschool schedules for our team members so you can get it on your calendars!

Private Lessons
We hope everyone enjoyed the class with David Hadler.  David is making himself available for private lessons.  Right now, we are looking at Wednesdays after 6PM for private lessons, maybe even Thursdays after 7PM.  There might be a possibility for Monday and Friday evenings.  Private lessons will be 20 minutes, $25 for each private lesson.

In the past, I usually do them when I have time and we have fencers getting ready for competitions.  We now have a coach that can be available for private lessons more often than I.  If you’re competitive, would like to get more than class, regular private lessons is such an important aspect of becoming a good fencer that we haven’t been able to offer because of my availability.  I truly encourage our fencers, competitive and developing to take advantage of this opportunity.  It’s rare that we have a high caliber fencer and coach within our program available for private lessons.

If you are interested in private lessons, e-mail me and let me now what days you have available.  Wednesdays are preferrable.  Also, private lessons are intended to supplement classes and not replace them.
