Weekend Results and Wilmington Tournament
Big congrats to all our competitors fencing in our last home tournament of the season. We also had several fencers competing in their first tournament, and some fencers fencing in their last tournament before they move away. 
Congrats to Elea, Isabella, and Isaac; they all took first in their respective events.
Teammates and friends Elea and Olivia had to fence each other in the finals, where Elea came out on top. Isabella went undefeated in a pool of 7 fencers and breezed through her elimination rounds to take first. Callaghan had two close bouts, both 15-14, and recovering from a deficit to make it to the finals round. However Isabella got the best of Callaghan in the final round.
No fencers went undefeated in the Senior Mixed Open Foil, but Zion seeded 1st coming out of pools. Unfortunately, teammates 5th seed Isaac and 4th seed Lily faced each other to enter the semi-final round, where Isaac defeated Lily 15-9. Isaac and Zion had an exciting semi-final, but Isaac was able to come out on top, 15-12. Isaac faced Patrick from Cape Fear Fencing Association in the finals, defeating him 15-9.
