**IMPORTANT** RENEW OR START YOUR USA FENCING MEMBERSHIP!

  • If you are a completely new fencer or a fencer coming from camp and planning on continuing in August, I might consider becoming a USA Fencing member now.  The next season, the USA Fencing membership prices will increase to  $29 (from $25).  If you become a member now, USA Fencing has a Membership Extension Policy: A new or first-time upgrading member who joins USA Fencing between April 1 and June 30 of the current membership season shall be entitled to a membership for the remaining months in the current season through the next membership season
  • USA Fencing Membership prices will raise from $25 to $29 for Access Membership (good for classes and local competitions — MOST FENCERS WILL BE GETTING THE ACCESS MEMBERSHIP).  Competitive membership will raise from $90 to $99 (required if participating in National and Regional Competitions — Only those few that participate in National and Regional events will need the Competitive Membership).
  • If you renew your membership before Aug. 1, 2023, you can do so at 2022-23 season prices.
  • Join or renew your membership at:  https://www.usafencing.org/page/show/698114-individual-memberships

WANT TO PLAN AHEAD FOR TOURNAMENTS?

  • We will post and other North Carolina clubs will post their events on AskFred: https://tinyurl.com/yc38r75r
Clubs have not yet schedule or posted their events.  But we will be hosting several tournaments, and we travel to Greensboro and Wilmington often.
  • The closest National event to us will be in Charlotte, the Junior Olympics.  There is a qualifying tournament for that, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
  • There are a few Regional events we typically participate in:  River City Regional Rumble (Richmond, VA – September), Bull City RYC and RJCC (Durham, NC – October), American Challenge South (Myrtle Beach, SC – November), The Southern (Myrtle Beach, SC – December), Fairfax Challenge (Fredericksburg, VA – January), Apex Challenge (Apex, NC – February)
