This one is a must have, not a suggestion. Make sure you renew your USA Fencing Membership either to non-competitive or competitive!

New foil chest guard
If you compete, this is required for women, if you’re male and wear a chest guard you also need the new chest guard that meet competition standards. If you plan on purchasing one just for comfort, go ahead and get the new padded chest guard.

Roll of tip tape
Also a staple carry in every fencer’s bag…like duck tape. But don’t use duck tape or electrical tape for your weapon, they just get messy.
