Review: Eurovision Song Contest
For most people, Eurovision is a daft, one-night-only, three-and-a-half-hour party filled with cheesy music, hilarious outfits, dubious voting and the ubiquitous Russian Grannies. For committed Eurovision followers like myself, however, Saturday night was the culmination of around six months’ worth of national finals, pre-contest promotional tours and over two weeks of intensive rehearsals (OK, and parties) here in Kiev, Ukraine’s capital city.
