Music review: Hidden Door
It’s been an exemplary and inspiring week at this year’s edition of Edinburgh’s Hidden Door festival, an event which flits annually between abandoned spaces, reclaims them from dilapidation and presents them in a new guise as a space for eclectic and exciting music and art. The difference this year is that the space which has been saved by an army of volunteers is one where these things should be enjoyed all year round; the glorious but run-down Leith Theatre, here hosting its first live shows for 29 years.
