Fell Swoop is Razor Sharp

Canberra-trainer Matt Dale will tackle the Listed Razor Sharp 1200m on Saturday with his class sprinter Fell Swoop.

Fell Swoop made an excellent return to racing when beaten close-up In the Century Stakes at Flemington on 8 November.

Dale was delighted with the 7yo gelding’s performance, confirming his belief that the horse had come back to racing in excellent order.

Ten runners have accepted for the Randwick feature with Cradle Mountain sure to be well-fancied down in the weights seeking the hat-trick.

Three Canberra horses have been accepted for the TAB Highway Handicap on the same day: Sei Stella (Dale), Manzana (Joe Ible) and Embezzlement (Team Joseph).

There will also be considerable Canberra in interest in Thursdays Wyong meeting, especially in the return of Sizzling Belle in the $100,000 Magic Millions Wyong Stakes.

Nick Olive’s Black Opal Stakes runner-up is currently $10 in a race where the Waterhouse-Bott–trained Invincible Star lines up a dominant $1:40 favourite.

In the final race on the Wyong Card, Olive has Dreaming Of Biscay engaged and she will be very competitive following her tough Gundagai win.
