Watch bizarre moment impressed BBC commentators pick out ‘brave’ Olympics 2024 fan who came to the diving in his Speedos
A “BRAVE” spectator in just Speedos overshadowed France’s “hunky” Olympic divers when BBC commentators singled him out on live TV.
The skimpily-dressed fan carried a scorecard with the maximum “10” – and was promptly given top marks himself for fearlessness.
Host-country springboarders Jules Bouyer and Alexis Jandard are big hits on social media, with some viewers joking the “dishy duo” are the only reason they watch the Paris Games.
But for a few quirky moments, even the French pair were eclipsed by a bearded, barely-attired man in the crowd at the Olympic Aquatics Centre.
TV cameras panned to him – and far from giving his budgie smugglers the bird, commentators appeared to admire his daring choice of garb.
One said: “Someone has come to the diving in their Speedos.
“I applaud that man. That’s brave.”
Her Beeb co-presenter responded: “Right temperature – for Speedos, I mean.”
However, reaction from goggling viewers was a mix of approval and shock.
One posted: “Can’t believe that French fan is in the stand in his Speedos at the Olympic diving.”

Another wrote: “Man in the crowd watching the diving in his Speedos. Looks good tbf.”
A third added: “Someone’s come to the diving in their Speedos – I’m crying.”
And a fourth suggested turning up in nothing but the tiny trunks was “tremendous, fair play”.

Paris Olympics with 300k condoms
Nearly 15,000 residents – around 10,500 of which are athletes – will be cramming into the Olympic village between July 26 and August 11.
To ensure the athletes feel at home, a number of provisions have been made by organisers.
One of these is the stocking of some 300,000 condoms, in theory enough for around two every day during the run of the Games.
A number of Olympic athletes have opened the door on their steamy lives behind-the-scenes when in camp, including huge sex orgies and parties.
London 2012 had claimed the title of “the raunchiest Games ever”, but the 150,000 condoms ordered paled in comparison to the 450,000 ordered for the Rio Games four years later.
Condoms have been laid on by organisers at every game since Seoul 1988, when it they were used to spread awareness of HIV and AIDS.
Even with an intimacy ban at Tokyo 2020 due to Covid-19, some 150,000 johnnies were handed out.
