KINGSPORT, Tenn. - Cumberlands (Ky.) leads after the first day of the MSC Women's Swimming and Diving Championships Thursday at the Kingsport Aquatic Center.
The Patriots sit atop the leaderboard after recording 308 points on the first day. Cumberlands won four events on Thursday. The Patriots 400 yard medley relay team of Maria Basto, Elisa Corradi, Valentina Zapata and Hanne te Vlethuis set the meet record with a time of 3:51.76. Cumberlands got the finals session underway on Thursday with a victory in the 200 freestyle relay. Corradi added a title in the 200 IM while Emma Lehmkuhl took first in one-meter diving.
