So when TikToker Christina hadn’t heard from her ex in a few months, she thought he had forgotten all about the t-shirt he’d left at her place.
But instead of just letting it go when he finally remembered, the bloke decided he wanted it back then and there – or he’d charge a fee.
Yes, you read that right.
In a viral video that’s racked up over 888,000 “likes”, Christina shared screenshots from the heated conversation between her and an old boyfriend.
As she really didn’t fancy seeing him again, Christina told her ex that she’d thrown away the t-shirt.

He replied: “Either you send $20 [£15] for my property that you threw away or I take further action.”
And if that wasn’t cheeky enough, he then sent her a Venmo request asking her to transfer the money.

Trying to keep the peace, she replied: “I’m not giving you $20. I gave you an opportunity to come get it and you didn’t.”
Needless to say, Christina’s ex still wouldn’t drop it and said he was happy to turn up at her door for the t-shirt or to collect his money.
Hinting that he’d get law enforcement involved, the bloke said he would have no choice but to take “further action” if Christina didn’t co-operate.
Calling his bluff, Christina told him there was no way she was giving any money.
“Karma will get you then,” he sassily wrote.
Determined to have the last word, Christina fired back with: “Karma got me when I met you. Goodbye.”
However, he then clapped back with: “Good luck with that job you’re incapable of.”
Needless to say, viewers were in awe of Christina’s composure during the exchange.
