Dogs make a splash in diving competition at Thai pet show

These pet pooches overcame their fear of water and made a splash - in a dog diving competition.
The mutts were attending a pet show in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 1 were one of the attractions was a doggy swimming pool.
Footage shows how the dogs plucked up the courage to leap into the water. Others needed gentle encouragement, jumping in while chasing after toys thrown through the air.
The dog diving event was staged at the Pet Expo Thailand 2019 which was held at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre building in the Bangna district of the capital.
Prizes for the dogs with the longest dive included a month's supply of pet food, a doggy grooming day and accessories including leads and collars.
