New Hampshire diver Allison Stefanelli honored twice
Sophomore Allison Stefanelli has had a consistent season diving for the New Hampshire women's swim team, but she's done well enough to earn a pair of America East Conference Diver of the Week awards.
Stefanelli, from Loudonville (Albany Academy for Girls), earned her latest honor on Dec. 6 after she finished third in both the one-meter (237.15 points) and three-meter (230.09) dives as the Wildcats defeated Northeastern 160.5-139.5 on Dec. 2 in Durham, N.H. She earned her first award on Nov. 18 after winning the three-meter (241.42) and finishing second in the one-meter (237.37) in a 169-131 season-opening league victory over Vermont on Nov. 14 in Durham.
