Walkowiak rules Rutgers pool

Addison Walkowiak put on a diving show at the annual Big Al Open last weekend in Princeton, N.J.

The Rutgers senior from Ballston Spa (Ballston Spa High) captured all three diving events at the meet. She kicked off the weekend by capturing the 1-meter dive with a school and pool record total of 332.15 on Friday. It was her fourth 1-meter victory of the season. She followed that up by capturing the 3-meter dive on Saturday with a 324.85 effort then topped things off by adding the platform dive to her bounty on Sunday. Her winning total of 261.37 was the top mark in that event among divers this season and is a Zone I qualifying mark.

That was the final meet of the first semester.
