[Women's Soccer] Women's Soccer falls to No. 9 Martin Methodist 4-3

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team lost to No. 9 Martin Methodist 4-3 at Walter S. Reuling Stadium on Saturday night.

The Blue Raiders scored the first goal of the contest during just the 11th minute off a set-piece. Thea Birgerud played a ball into the penalty area that would find the foot of a waiting Sina Cavelti. Cavelti took just one touch before striking a low shot near post past a diving keeper.
