COLUMBUS, Ga. – After one full day of competition at the NAIA Swimming and Diving National Championship, the Olivet Nazarene University men's team finds themselves in sixth place overall. The Tigers top individual finish thus far came in the 500 Freestyle where Xavier Bordes Adell (JR/Vinaros, Spain) took fourth place, touching the wall in 4:34.46. ONU opened the meet with a third-place finish in the 800 Freestyle Relay with a time of 6:48.75, Iran Cavalcante-Almeida (SO/Sao Paulo, Brazil) set a new school record in the 200 Freestyle with his opening leg posting a 1:38.39.
