[Women's Swimming and Diving] Vega captures 200IM title; Tigers sit in 3rd place at NAIA Nationals

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Andrea Vega (SR/Barrington, Ill.) captured her first national championship of 2019, third of her career, setting a new Olivet Nazarene University school record in the 200 Individual Medley on Thursday, Feb. 28 at the NAIA National Championship. Vega also led off the 200 Freestyle Relay which took second place, with Helina Reyes (FR/Santiago, Dominican Republic), Jordan Enders (SO/Ada, Mich.) and Leanne Latocha (JR/Oak Forest, Ill. ). Karla Islas (SO/Mexico City, Mexico) also broke the school record in the 500 Freestyle, finishing second.
