Bicycle Bills Reintroduced in 2017

LMB recently learned that our 5-foot passing and driver's education improvement bills, which were not passed before the last legislative session adjourned in 2016, have been reintroduced in both the House and Senate! The 5-Foot safe passing bill was introduced as SB 0123 by Senators Knezek and O'Brien, who sponsored the bills last session. A House version of the bill (HB 4185) was introduced by Representative Bizon. The driver's education bill was reintroduced as SB 0124, again by Senators Knezek and O'Brien. A House version of this bill was also introduced as HB 4198 by Representatives Alexander, Bizon, Hughes, Kahle, Hornberger, and Webber.
