Jaffari Cycling Club: Community, Consistency and Camaraderie

Founded in 2021, Jaffari Cycling Club began as a small group of friends riding the roads of York and Peel Region with regular ventures into Durham. Rooted primarily in the Muslim community, the club was created to introduce cycling as an accessible and rewarding sport, highlighting its powerful benefits for physical fitness, mental well-being, and social connection.

Since its creation, the club has grown into a supportive and welcoming cycling community, proudly participating in major charity events such as the Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Jaffari Cycling Club caters to riders of all abilities, from beginners to experienced cyclists, offering skill-based rides, seasonal challenges, winter Zwift sessions, beginner bike maintenance workshops through BikeDepot, and a celebratory year-end awards dinner.

At its core, the club is about brotherhood, fitness, and giving back through meaningful charity rides, making it a friendly and encouraging home for cyclists, especially those just getting started.
