Ontario Cycling Thanks William Trischuk and Welcomes Chantal Thompson as Provincial Road Lead Commissaire

Ontario Cycling would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to William Trischuk for his outstanding service as Provincial Road Lead Commissaire for his term from January 2024 to December 2025. William’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the sport have been instrumental in ensuring fair and safe competition across the province. His leadership has strengthened the commissaire community and elevated the standard of road cycling events in Ontario.

As we look ahead, we are excited to announce that Chantal Thompson will assume the role of Provincial Road Lead Commissaire for the term January 2026 to December 2027. Chantal brings a wealth of experience across multiple cycling disciplines, as well as her previous experience working at the Ontario Cycling Office. Her involvement as a timer at cycling events and deep understanding of race operations make her an exceptional choice to lead the road commissaire portfolio into the future.

Ontario Cycling is confident that Chantal’s knowledge and passion will continue to foster growth and excellence within the sport. Please join us in thanking William for his remarkable contributions and in welcoming Chantal to this important leadership role.
