Statement from the NSMBA Board of Directors

The North Shore Mountain Bike Association (NSMBA) is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive trail community.

Following a recent incident involving a board member and a community member, the board member has made a personal decision to resign from the Board of Directors, effective immediately.

We recognize the impact this incident has had and want to reaffirm our values of accountability and integrity in leadership. The board takes all concerns seriously and is committed to upholding its internal policies and code of conduct to ensure they reflect the standards our members expect and deserve.  We also want to remind everyone of our trail etiquette guidelines and to help us keep our North Shore trails a positive place to be for all.

We remain committed to serving our community through our dedication to advocacy, stewardship, and trail work on the North Shore.
