Lotus and Water Lily Festival Bike Ride

Join the DC Trail Rangers for a short, beginner friendly bike ride on Anacostia River Trail! We’ll meander through the park taking in the views, sounds, and smells of nature. Recently our team has been able to see blue herons looking for their lunch, turtles digging holes along the trail, and wild blackberries growing – who knows we might get lucky and see a bald eagle fly overhead.

At the end of the ride, we’ll arrive back at Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens for participants to enjoy the remainder of the Lotus and Water Lily Festival. We’ll also be sticking around for participants and other attendees to ask us questions and help meet their trail needs. But spots are limited so be sure to sign up today!

Participants must know how to ride a bike and be able to ride for 15 minutes continuously. Participants are required to bring their own bike and wear a helmet for the duration of the ride. If you don’t have a helmet, email trailranger@waba.org and we’ll get you one. We encourage everyone to wear comfortable weather appropriate clothing and closed toed shoes and bring water.
