Hi guys. Welcome to the TdF Presidential Stage 2 Prediction interview. I’m going to make this quick because I know it’s late. 7:30pm in DC I believe. So. First to the President. Who do you like and how much does the TdF mean to you?

Trump - It means a lot. I won it in ‘86.

Biden - He’s talking to me I think.

Trump - The only reason I’m not racing this year is because I’m saving America and the judge said I couldn’t go.

Biden - Here’s the thing. Hold on. Jill said I had to keep ‘the thing’ in my trousers.

Trump - Ha! I’ve never worried about that. Come on Lance!!

Biden - Le Tour for Lemond! Four more years!!

Trump - If the sun goes in those electric bikes won’t work. I thought of that before anyone. Grown men with tears in their eyes said no one has ever been as smart as you Sir.

Biden - If next time we can do this before the sun sets, I’ll be quicker than Cav winning stage 6.

The Course

Doesn’t look as climby as Saturday but it’s a tougher stage in reality and more importantly, the last climb is close enough to the finish for an attack to stick.

The Favourites

Pre knowing what happened on stage 1 makes this a bit tough to predict because it really depends who has Yellow and how much they want to keep it or how well they can defend it. Having said that it’s hard to not believe in UAE putting Vingegaard under pressure so I expect it to be a GC finale with the rider that someone or two could sneak away in the closing kilometres to take the victory. I’m guessing the ‘experts’ and bookies will think that Matti and Wout will be favourites but as I said, this is a day for Pog to put the pressure on.

Feel free to rethink your picks when it emerges which riders are more or less popular with other players. If you make changes, post your revised 4 picks in a reply to your original post.
