Favorite Bike: 2016 Specialized Tarmac

Favorite Ride: My favorite ride is anything really steep and nasty. I don’t particularly care for long grinding climbs but I LOVE shorter, super-steep ramps. My all-time favorite ride (so far) is probably the trip up the Tourmalet, Col d’Aspin, & Lac de Cap-de-Long in the French Pyrenees in 2018. Epic, brutal day, but worth every pedal stroke.

Why I’m involved in Team Evergreen: I’m involved in TE because Sean Wood is paying me under the table. Seriously, I’ve ridden TBP several times and I’m inspired by TE’s work in raising funds to give to local non-profits. I feel it’s my community duty to engage in a group that seeks to build the cycling community in the Front Range and I’m humbled to be a part of it.

In Real Life: I’m a practicing attorney in Evergreen focused on strategic legal strategies for privacy, tax reduction, asset protection, and legacy. Aside from riding my road bike every chance I get, I enjoy reading biographies and history, and traveling with my wife and two grown daughters.
