2019 Injury/Illness list

I've never posted one of these so hope I've got it right.

We'll soon be in VDS team-picking mode. Here are a couple of names I've spotted who may not be racing for a while.

Max Richeze (Quickstep): Hit by car 10 days ago, knee injury, return uncertain

Pauline Ferrand Prevot (Canyon SRAM) : out for at least 4 months after surgery this week

Returning from injury, fitness untested:

Benat Intxausti (Euskadi): Only 5 races in last 2 years (mono). Returns in Spanish 1-day races this month

Petr Vakoc (Quickstep): Hasn't raced since Oct 2017 (training crash with car). Returns at Vuelta San Juan

Rick Zabel (Katusha): Broke collarbone training in November. Returns in Spain this month

Annemiek van Vleuten (M-S) : Broke knee at 2018 worlds and had complicated recovery. Doesn't expect to be 100% until after Ardennes.
