schwinn varsity men vs women

Hi

I'm looking for a drop bar Varsity 10-speed on CL unsuccessfully.

But I'm seeing alot of women frame with upright handlebars.

Do these women upright varsity have same geometries as road bike version men diamond frame?

May want to swap a drop bar onto a women frame...if I cannot find a...
