Well, I yes I just cannot really remember.
Long time ago.
It wasn't like riding a century.
It wasn't.
There were sorta rest stops, yeah - but it was not all apples and orange slice overflowing.
Nope. Not much.
Checkpoints, they were called.
Had to have your card "tampon" stamped.
Even the guys yes, too.
Probably I struggled climbing out of Sausalito - the place where Bill King lived.
Or somewhere else. maybe, too.
But I did finish.
No medals were offered.
