Pairing Shimano R8000 crankset with 10 speed rear mech- any compatibility issues?

My current drive train has an FSA-SLK crankset with a BB30 and a 10 speed (7900) RD. The bottom bracket has been a royal pain and needed replacement nearly every year. Talking to the folks at my LBS today, it was suggested that I replace the crankset with something like an Ultegra R8000 that might give me a more durable BB.
But the R8000 was designed for 11 speed, rather than my current 10 speed. If I mix and match, are there likely to be compatibility issues or problems with smooth shifting?
