License plates for road bikes in NC???

It's a real possibility because of House Bill 157 that would require registration of each bike you ride on a state road, $10 fee per year per bike and get this you would have to put a "suitably sized" license plate on your bike. :wtf:
I urge every rider in NC to contact their House...
