best position on horizontal dropout for indexing?

I have put on a new 105 5800 group (11 speed, 50/34 13-32 )on my de rosa..with a short horizontal dropout .....I .am fine tuning the indexing.
it just hit me that I left the the drop out set screws all the way forward as there were when the bike was shipped, so the wheel is pretty far...
