Fenders and disc brakes

Tried to mount some SKS Longboards on my new Surly Disc Trucker. Problem is that the disc brake assembly gets in the way of the stays.There are spacers and a longer bolt provided, but the stays then have to be bent back inward and because of the added tension on one side of the wheel I couldn't get...
