Stripped derailer bolt.

Hey so when I was installing my rear derailer yesterday I acidentilly threaded the threads on the bolt that holds the cable. Is there any way to fix this or bodge it so that it holds the cable even though it doesnt go in properly now. Its an expensive derailer sram red so I dont wanna have to...
