Automatically parse links in text not working for HTTPS

I've noticed for a while that the function: "Automatically parse links in text" doesn't seem to be working for any HTTPS sites.

I think it does work for a few HTTP links, but even those seem to be hit & miss.

And, there seems to be a slow shift of most sites to HTTPS, meaning the function...
