disc brakes and springer forks, what to do?

I have a stretch bike (porucho frame) with monark 29" double springer forks which was to be outfitted with disc brakes. well, the back wheel has the disc on the non-drive side but the forks have the mounts on the opposite side,(drive side) so I am confused. Is it possible to have both discs on Left...
